The Sierra de Castril is a fantastic place to carry out many different walking routes.

We have maps available upon request for the routes within the Sierra de Castril, which range from moderate to harder in gradients and the time taken to complete.

The Gorge Walk in Castril offers two routes. One route lasts approximately 1 hour, the other taking around 4 hours to complete.

Many people prefer to come to Castril off season as the weather, although much cooler, remains mild and rain is minimal. Jumpers and jackets will be required as the evening get very chilly during the winter months.
