Everyone walks from the village up to our community of La Solana |

Everyone takes turns to carry the statue

People sing and celebrate by letting off fireworks

The statue is walked to the end of our lane
|
|

The Paella is underway
|
|
|
|

Enough is cooked for all to enjoy

The chefs have some fun!

Everyone chats and has a drink of cerveza (beer) or two!

The statue comes to rest in the small church at the end of our lane
People go into church, say their prayers and touch and feel the statue |

|
Meanwhile the Paella continues to be cooked...
it will take around 3 hours to cook... |

|
Finally, Paella cooked and eaten!!

Evening
Another procession takes place down the lane and back again....the evening closes with a celebration of music. |
